Congratulations to our 2025-2026 Jr. Hope Squad Nominees!
We are thrilled to announce the students who have been nominated by their peers to be part of our Jr. Hope Squad for the upcoming school year.
Each year, students are selected based on the positive qualities recognized by their classmates—including being approachable, trustworthy, and kind.
We are excited to welcome these outstanding students to the Jr. Hope Squad and look forward to the important role they will play in supporting our school community next year.

Thank you to all who applied for Student Council! Cook Elementary is full of amazing students. We look forward to seeing you in August!

Thank you for supporting Cook Elementary. Have a wonderful summer.

On Monday, May 12, elementary students from around the district participated in the STEM Olympiad. Our teams have been practicing since January and represented Cook well!
Our teams medaled in four of the six events. We took first in Sphero and KenKen and second place in Data Detectives and Ping-Pong Parachutes.Â
Special thanks to our AMAZING Olympiad coaches, Mrs. Stones and Mrs. Jones. We appreciate their time, effort, and dedication. They go above and beyond to help students grow and succeed.
Way to go, Cook Cougars!

Mission League is a global competition through Mission IO (previously Infini-D Lab) where any elementary or middle school class can compete on one mission with two difficulty levels. Normally, missions are based on grade-specific subject matter; but competition missions are even more about skills and the students’ ability to work together as a class and solve really complex problems together as a team. Engagement from every single participating student is critical to mission success and high placement on the leaderboard.
Mrs. Free has been leading our classes through Mission Leagues these last few weeks and the results are in!
Drum roll......
The top class at Cook Elementary in the K-1st grade category is Mrs. Flint’s class with a ranking of 8th out of 60 competing classes.
The top class at Cook Elementary in the 2nd-3rd grade category was Mrs. Meadows class with a ranking of 4th out of 99 competing classes.
The top class at Cook Elementary in the 4-9th grade category was Mrs. Wright’s class with a ranking of 5th out of 203 competing classes.
Way to go Cook Cougars and special thanks to Mrs. Free and her dedication in helping our students to grow, learn, and succeed all while having fun.
