The Halloween Parade will be outside on the track on Friday October 31st @ 9:15-unless it rains, then it will be cancelled. The route will be on the track starting by the north ball wall and go counterclockwise. We will finish between the two playgrounds. Teachers will lead the line with the first student holding a class sign so parents can identify their students' class quickly. Parents can sit on the grass around the track to take pictures. Those attending can wear costumes but must follow the same guidelines as our students.
Students who would like to dress up are welcome to come to school in costume. Any makeup or hair coloring should be in place before coming to school, no masks. Please make sure costumes meet our school rules:
Be respectful: Avoid stereotypes, racially insensitive, or culturally inappropriate costumes.
Be responsible: Recognize that students in a wide age range will see the costumes. Costumes should not be gory or threatening.
Be safe: No weapons of any kind and no masks.
Be kind: Costumes should be fun and exciting, not political, or offensive.
